Rotational Spectrum of the AsH(2) Radical in Its Ground State, Studied by Far-Infrared Laser Magnetic Resonance.

چکیده
The rotational spectrum of AsH(2) in its ground &Xtilde;(2)B(1) electronic state has been recorded using a far-infrared laser magnetic resonance spectrometer. The AsH(2) radical was produced inside the spectrometer cavity by the reaction of arsine (AsH(3)) with fluorine atoms. Hyperfine splittings from both (75)As and (1)H nuclei were observed, and analysis of the spectra has yielded accurate values for rotational, hyperfine, and Zeeman parameters. Direct Measurement of the Fundamental Rotational Transitions of the Oh Radical by Laser Sideband Spectroscopy
We report for the first time the direct (zero-field) spectra of the fundamental rotational transitions of the OH radical in its 0 = 3/2 and 1/2 states at 2509.9 and 1834.7 GHz using a recently developed far-infrared laser sideband spectrometer. These measurements have verified and refined the predictions of previous laser magnetic resonance (LMR) work, thereby confirming the far-infrared detect...
متن کاملFar - infrared detection of 17 OH towards Sagittarius B 2 ⋆
The frequencies and line strengths of the 2 Π 3/2 J=5/2–3/2 rotational transition of 17 OH have been calculated from an analysis of its far-infrared laser magnetic resonance spectrum. These results have been used to make the first detection of a pure rotational transition of 17 OH in the ISM. Two resolved components of this transition appear in absorption towards the giant molecular cloud Sagit...
متن کاملFar Infrared Laser Magnetic Resonance
Within the last few years, laser magnetic resonance (LMR) has emerged as a powerful technique for the detection of transient species in the gas phase and the study of their rotational spectra. The sensitivity of this method is con siderably higher than those of most competing techniques, such as conventional optical and microwave spectroscopy and gas-phase EPR, while the resolution attainable ...
متن کاملDirect Measurement of Fine Structure I N the Ground State of Atomic Carbon by Laser Magnetic Resonance Richard
The fine-structure intervals in the ground 2 3P multiplet of lZC I have been measured with high accuracy by laser magnetic resonance. The results are: AR(3Y2-3P1) = 809.3446 (29) GHz and AE(3Y1-3Po) = 492.1623(7) GHz. These precise nieasurements have made possible the astronomical detection of far-infrared line emissions from I2C atoms in several interstellar sources, as reported in the accompa...
متن کاملAnomalous Λ-doubling in the infrared spectrum of the hydroxyl radical in helium nanodroplets.
The X(2)Π3/2 hydroxyl (OH) radical has been isolated in superfluid (4)He nanodroplets and probed with infrared laser depletion spectroscopy. From an analysis of the Stark spectrum of the Q(3/2) transition, the Λ-doublet splittings are determined to be 0.198(3) and 0.369(2) cm(-1) in the ground and first excited vibrational states, respectively. These splittings are 3.6 and 7.2 times larger than...
